I am trying to select multiple photos in iCloud without having to click on each photo individually. Is there a way to do so?

Agree with the fed-up users on here : Extremely annoying that Apple would change the simple, common, fundamental functionality of being able to Shift-Click to select multiple photos from "All Photos". Especially since it was already there!! It's baffling as to why they would even take this out. Restore this immediately, please.
It works for me
I just realized that i did not read the posts before this one. It is with a pc, with MacBook it doesn’t work.
For a Mac you use the Command key.

Thanks but I have to say that's a really screwed up interaction. Almost completely undiscoverable.
Hold down the Alt key, then select the photo's you want.
These shortcuts where we use the shift, alt or command key do not work on a Macbook. There may be something broken in the code.
The Command key works just fine for selecting photos on my iCloud.com website. What browser are you using?

Do shift+crtl+alt keys and select the pics you want to download by mouse clicking them (not using arrow keys).
I tried that, but there is no “iCloud” folder or anything, and just deleting it from the device did not delete it from iCloud.
I am on my work PC. I held down Ctrl, Command, and Alt keys at the same time and was then able to click to select multiple files. Completely counter-intuitive, but it worked.
well said! But since these complaints have been around for a few years at least, I'm not holding my breath...
...irregardless of who can be the most sarcastic to their fellow posters on this thread let us not lose sight of the main idea; browser-based iCloud is shameful.
ALT button on PC rather than shift or Ctrl
Best practice is not to backup photos videos on Icloud. Instead every so often take them off your phone by syncing it to your pc, or just drag and drop which is much easier.
I do want to keep some of them on Icloud and synch across multiple devices. Now that the shift key no longer works I will be more judicious in what I keep there.
