iTunes Song Title in MainStage

Is there a way to see the song title and artist playing in iTunes on MainStage. I see you can use Apple Scripts to play and next a song but I would like to be able to see the song info while in MainStage. I tried to write an Apple Script and it pulls the name in the script editor but MainStage doesn't work with it. All it shows is the file name not the song name.

tell application "iTunes"

get name of current track

end tell

that's the script I made but in MainStage it only show the file name no the song title.
