First, a website that disables "right-click" functionality is likely very proud of their content - so much so that a simple statement like
COPYRIGHT ©2015 It's My Party and I'll Cry If I Want To, LLC - All Rights Reserved
they may deem insufficient to dissuade infringers... sooo, they employ methods in HTML, CSS and/or JavaScript to make it hard to do
By law, "commitment of a work to a tangible medium" makes it Copyrighted from that very moment - cocktail napkin - this post as I type it!
As such, whenever I copy/paste ANYTHING, even within Apple's World, I cite the page it comes from by URL and most times cite the Author of any message inside a thread
All that said, I cannot tell you how to copy the text (provided it is actually text not an image of a text block) until I know that you have permission to do so - then it is kinda easy
Post a URL - I'll have a look and let you know soonest -> tomorrow - it is tomorrow!

Rachael ~ No, from looking at the HTML in your site:
...it appears to be a Flash site created by Flashme Web Design.
Any Other thoughts?
In iOS devices such as iPhone, some text on your site is selectable and copyable. For example, I was able to copy & paste the text: "with eight underground wheat silos."

OK. Site is all Flash - ISH as alancito says - BUT it is being delivered as HTML5 specification
How do I know this without looking at the code? My Browser DISABLES Flash and ALL Plug-ins at launch of the App !!
- SELECTABLE text
Some text is IN the images - part of the picture
Some IS live text
- If your goal is "Change Orders" for the Web Developer/Author of your site
- Take screenshots of the pages like I did above
- Divide into "Imaginary" Quadrants - Top,L&R - Bottom,L&R
- On thisPage [InsertImage]
- TopLeft
- change the button "River Outings" to "River Excursions"
- BottomRight
- the phone number is wrong - change to 1800 80 *8* 772 (and hope they don't put the *s and spaces in)
best to just put the right number
- the phone number is wrong - change to 1800 80 *8* 772 (and hope they don't put the *s and spaces in)
- TopLeft
- ETC
- If your goal is merely to somehow "Save" some text (as illustrated) for other uses, you will be limited to what I illustrate.
Tell us your REAL Goal, please. We can best advise with the end in mind.
Regarding the COPYRIGHT deal I talked about. This can be complicated depending on the Contractual Agreement you signed with the developer. In the U.S., the developer is the Copyright HOLDER because he "committed the contents to a tangible medium" - as part of a "Compilation". Everything IN the website - all text, pictures, music, etc. remains the with the original holder(s), but they must "grant" specific rights for reproduction, display, performance(maybe), distribution, etc. to You and the Web Developer (see ho complicated it is already?). Then, the developer must Grant or Sell you the rights to the site as it exists upon delivery -
I would typically include contract language "granting all rights, in this universe and beyond, for all time and eternity" to the client. Done deal
There are those that will claim "Work for Hire" applies... in the U.S. that is a very High Standard to meet, legally. No one was ever my Boss, provide me a workplace, computers, software, over the shoulder direction on how to perform my tasks, etc. - Not work for hire - MY Copyright which I will give you as part of the deal we make.
again, tell us what you want to do, exactly and what the real goal is.
All in all, this site is very nicely done, in my professional opinion

Hi,
In Safari, simply disable Javascript, and you can copy/paste til you get dizzy!
Did you even try to do that with this particular site? If you disable Javascript the site does not even load. There's nothing to copy.
If you disable Flash, then yes, the site is delivered as HTML5. which will allow live text to be copied.
Javascript is not involved here.

Feb 26, 2015 8:26 AM in response to Phil0124by ChitlinsCC,Howdy Phil.
I knew without looking or trying anything... this was likely 'crafted' in Photoshop/Flash/Dreamweaver and 'published' to the web as HTML5. I am an old Macromedia and Adobe hand. Platform support w/ Macromedia products has been a no brainer (for the most part) since the old days. Today, create > 'punch the magic twanger' is about it.
best regards

Feb 26, 2015 8:33 AM in response to ChitlinsCCby Phil0124,Technically speaking, flash is Flash and will always be published as such, it cannot be HTML 5.
It may use an HTML 5 compliant tag for the embedded object, but its still a Flash "video" or website.
When you disable Flash on this site, it delivers a copy of the site in HTML. Its actually quite a bit different to the flash based version. After digging a bit I found out its being delivered as XHTML 1.0 but it has a bunch of validation errors.
In any case, I've never been a big fan of flash based sites. I'm more of a straight HTML and CSS type of developer.

Feb 26, 2015 8:40 AM in response to Rachael137by Roote,Almost any text on a webpage can be copied. This is one method:
1. Input the webpage keyword into a Google search bar. Click the small triangle to the right of the URL to reveal the Pop-up menu. Click on "Cached":
2. Click on "Text-only version" link:
3. Highlight text and copy (⌘-C):
Another method to do the same thing:
1. Type "cache:" at the beginning of the web address and press the Enter key:
2. Highlight the text string in the URL from the very end up to the first ampersand (&):
3. Enter the text "strip=1" and press the Enter key:
