trouble charging
i have ipod Nano 7th Gen. The Screen keeps flashing when connected to iTunes on Mac. Doesn't start. Doesn't charge.

It sounds like your iPod touch is not starting up or charging, and flashes when connected to your Mac.
I recommend trying to reset the iPod while it's connected to power:
If iPod does not turn on after ten minutes, try resetting it while it is still connected to power. Reset the iPod by holding down the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button for at least six seconds or until you see the Apple logo appear.

If the issue continues, try restoring the iPod using iTunes:

If it can't be restored using the steps above, try placing it in recovery mode and restoring this way:
