I have a macbook pro (15-inch, Early 2011), sometimes horizontal and vertical lines randomly show up on my screen (photo below)! I' ve notice that happen when I have photoshop and illustrator opened. Is graphics card problem? Any thoughts? Thanks

i have the same problem. and i saw on apple website https://www.apple.com/support/macbookpro-videoissues/, that they have opened a replacement program for it. so i sent my macbook pro to an authorized apple service provider. website : http://www.ishop.com.gh/
and they asked me to pay $1000 bucks before they will replace the motherboard.
Outside the USA and Canada the program starts on Feb 27, 2015 (today). I am surprised at the response you got. You will have to discuss this matter with the service facility. If you cannot get satisfaction, you will have to contact Apple corporation.
