Ads keep popping with every click

hello,

I have MacBook pro 11,1 15 inch

I wanted to download Add on to play online videos when my problem started.

I don't remember its name but it installed mackeeper along with it. Also, it always change my homepage to web site "search quick".

For every click a new tab would open with advertisement. This problem continued even after I downloaded another web browser.

I uninstalled the applications and tried to find any add on to delete but i couldn't find. I did all the steps mentioned in this article but its not working; Unsupported third-party add-ons may cause Safari to unexpectedly quit or have performance issues - Apple Support

I tried to delete all cookies and turn on the firewall; again, its not helping.

Is there anything else to do. I'm thinking to format my macBook, its new anyway!
