"union square" software with Macs - do they work together? - can they?

We are about to purchase a document management system called Union Square, at present it can only operate on Internet Explorer - we have two Designers using Creative Suite, mainly InDesign on iMacs we have been told by Union Square that Macs running emulation software (such as Parallels Desktop) will be able to run Union Square within virtual Windows sessions. It is also possible to move files between Mac OS X and the virtual Windows PC session, allowing files created in Mac applications to be published into Union Square. This capability depends on the emulation software in use. Union Square are not able to provide any warranties or support for Union Square running in this environment. - Does anyone have experience of this and how easy/time consuming is it to interact? Kind Regards Peter Kerr
