Q: Yosemite Issue with SMB Sending file Via Canon IR C4580
After a solution if possible in regards to an issue I've just encounted after updating from Snow Leopard to Yosemite, all had been working well from the
Canon IR C4580 Sending file to the Mac shared folder utilising Xp as the Server.
Now after installing Yosemite I can still send to the PC however unable to Send to the Mac's, I've checked all the sharing procedures, the funny thing is I can still brouse and locate the Workgroup and the Mac's in the Work group from the Canon but can not go any deeper e.g. Shared folders, it just can not find them, it used to.
Mac to Mac = good, shared folders the lot, Mac to PC= good, PC to Mac same as the Canon, can see the Macs however trying to log on it comes back with the Users name from the PC in front of the Users Name I've just enter to log onto the Mac.
Have gotten around the PC to Mac issue with the following
XP Network Security: LAN Manager authentication Level, In dropdown select Send NTLMv2 response only, now I can enter the users Name and Password and log on to the Mac with no problems, but the Canon can still find the servers but not the shared folders ? I think I read somewhere about issues with SMB 1, 2 & 3
Please help I've spent around two day trying to figure this out, attempted various options, nothing. Cheers
