Bluetooth Headset Too Loud on Lowest Setting

I have the LG HBS 800 headset. Great quality and wonderful sound, but it is too loud even on the lowest setting on my iPhone 6 Plus. This occurs whether I am listening to iTunes, Spotify or a video.

Is there any way to adjust the output volume lower than the lowest setting? Or is there an app that will reduce the volume even further?
