Second display connected to MacPro show up as wrong size.

I have a standard VGA display and a LED Cinema Display connected to a new MacPro. The VGA display shows up as a wide format display when it is actually square. There are only two choices for resolution so that does not help. Any suggestions? The VGA display cuts off quite a bit of information on both sides.
