cannot activate the ipad2. Apple downloaded something overnight and now it will not work.

apple downloaded something last night and now I cannot get the unit to "activate" . Been trying for 2 days almost.

iPad 2, iOS 8.0.2

Apple does not download things to your device.

Please tell us specifically what issues you are encountering, what you are seeing, how it is affecting your usage of your device.

Your lpad was updated successfully. There are just a few more steps to follow, and then you're done.

Continue....

Then repeats, not done. Activation server not working or whatever. And try again...

Hi Gary - sorry, but had to go back to work for a bit.

Try resetting your device (nothing will be lost): Hold down the Home and Power buttons at the same time and continue to hold them down until the Apple appears (up to 30 seconds). Once the Slide to Unlock screen redisplays, you should be all set.
