Another method is
… using the Range tool (press R),select the part you like to lower (or raise), than grab and drag the line - with this method, all 4 keyframes are set automatically = faster ... 😉
Havnen´t got these handles you describe Luis.
..
would surely love to be able to do that but nothing happens when pressing "R" first and keyframes are nowhere to be seen Alchroma.
you'll need to hover the mouse over the end of the clip for the control handles to appear

I'll put that one up my sleeve for when I'm in a hurry. 🙂

That does not help - nothing is happening when hovering ;-)

Using the R key is Karstens' suggestion.
My suggestion is to move the cursor to exactly on the audio line.
See red arrow in the screen shot:
Next next press and hold down the Option key.
You may have to move the mouse or track pad slightly to evoke the keyframe enter mode.
When you get it right you will see a small diamond shape with a plus sign in it.
Click the mouse or trackpad at this time and a keyframe will be entered.
Repeat as many times as required.

The thing is that I dont have that line you refer to with the red arrow - watch the screenshot i posted - there is no line in the audio clip :-(
Change the clip apperance so they show the audio waves
AS we can see, the green bar contains no audio!
no audio, nothing to handle. That simple 😝
the more interesting question is: what is that file/bar/clip...... .
