Thinking of installing and setting up internal RAID to speed up operation with Photoshop. Has anybody tried the new Hybrid SSHD drives?

You want 4x8GB or 6-8x8GB of RAM
PCIe-SSD in slot #2 for system and another is slot #4 for scratch
you do not want Fusion drive
you do not need or want an array for anything except maybe scratch
you might want 4x2TB or above (8-16TB) for projects and data in four drive bays.
You might want to update your graphic card (and hardware profiles)
A GTX 770 graphic card or above - assume you run under OS X 10.9
