I have Logic Pro X 10.0.7, do i have to buy the 10.1 version.
Where do I download the update?

Open the Mac App Store and get it from either the Updates tab or its individual product page.

I didn't have to. Just go to app store and update it !
You may have to upgrade your OS. I still have Mountain Lion and the only compatible version of Logic is what I already have, 10.0.7
do i have to buy the update from 10.0.7 to 10.1
