I've read in the Help section of Pages that one can lock a document in Pages.
How about locking a text - can one do it?
If one can, how? If it can't be done, what's the command [Arrange > Lock] a.k.a. [CommandKey +KeyL] for, then?
I'm looking forward to find a problem-solving answer.

Lock is for objects, Shapes, Textboxes, lines etc which must be free floating.
Don't expect them to be locked from users though, anyone who knows can simply go to the menu and unlock them.
What is it you are actually trying to do, so we can suggest some solution (if possible)?

Again, I wanted to lock texts in Pages. By the way I tried to use Lock. I firstly marked two square objects, but the command stayed grey and unaccessible.
To lock them the text must be in Textboxes and free floating i.e. Object Arrangement > Stay on Page
If they are inline in the Text i.e. Object Arrangement > Move with Text they can not be locked.
