Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities.


Instead of using iTunes to sync data, you can sync many types of data (such as contacts, calendars, pictures, reminders) using iCloud.

iTunes is required to sync media such as music, tv shows, or video between iOS devices; but you can download your iTunes Store purchases directly to your iOS device(s) using the steps found here:
