Mavericks Apple Mail odd behavior???

Hello all,

I am experiencing what seems like odd behavior in Mavericks Apple Mail ver 7.3.

I have a number of folders I created to save messages I want to hang onto without leaving them in my inbox.

Lately, I have noticed that sometimes, but not always, when I drag a message to one of the these folders, it ALSO ends up in the "Trash" folder??

Is this normal behavior???

I have not tried using "Move To" in the control-click menu to see if the same thing happens but I guess I should . . . It is just more efficient to drag the me sired messages into the folder . . .

Any thoughts??
