Iphone 5 music albums out of sync

hello. I gave an iPhone 5s and an iPad 3. I bought an album on the iPad and it downloaded fine. On the iPhone the album sows, but it says it has 21 songs and 3 minutes, but only one song shows up the list. It was a collection bought recently from iTunes. On the iPad it shows fine, but the iPhone for that album is way off, by 20 songs. When I search by song, the album art shows with that song, but I click the album only one song shows. Any ideas, without resynching? Thanks
