iPhoto is has a text window that opens that says "BASH"

When I attempt to open up my iPhoto is has a text window that opens and says "Last login: Thu Feb 26 20:59:01 on ttys000 Brents-MacBook-Air:iPhoto Library.photolibrary brentthomas$"....I am a little nervous to where my photos are at. Anyone know whats going on? Trying to backup my iphone 6 to my macbook air.

Try the following:

  • Select your iPhoto Library in the Finder. By default it should be in your Pictures folder.
  • Use the command "File >Get Info" or press the key combination ⌘I
  • In the Info panel, that will pop up click the disclosure triangle for "Open with" and set this to "iPhoto.app".
  • Click the "Change All...." button as well.

User uploaded file

This will change the document type of your library to be opened by iPhoto.
