Can't import Entourage 2008 calendar to Calendar app on MacBook

Has anybody else had an issue with importing Entourage 2008 calendar data to the Calendar app? Calendar will show "Importing Entourage data" and create a new calendar called Entourage, but nothing displays there.

I've given the app plenty of time to import data, but nothing shows up. I've tried with Entourage open and closed at import, and closing it after import.
