When dashboard icon clicked on dock it appears for approx 2 seconds then automatically loads Candy Crush Saga. How do I keep the dashboard open and keep Candy Crush from loading?

Hi, try this: disable dashboard ( System preferences -> Mission control). After enabling again try find an odd applet on the dashboard. Erase it...
