what to I do if terminal on mac says contact Edtech office

Hi I am trying to use Terminal but it keeps on saying go to a tech office. I can't reach a tech office so is there another way to use terminal

MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

I doubt it. If you bought it from a store I suspect it was a returned computer. Open system Preferences and select the User and Groups tab. You may need to cllick on the lock at the bottom left hand corner of the dialog box and enter your password for the next step. Select your user account in the left window pane.


Near the bottom on the right side of the dialog is a button: Open Parental Controls and to the left of that button is a check mark option: Enable Parental Controls. Is that option check marked? And above that is an option (which might be grayed out) that reads “Allow user to administer this computer” is that option check marked?
