Q: Not detecting usb??? (Boot Camp)

I am trying to install windows 8 on my Mac using an ISO file. I have a MacBook Air 5,2 and a flash drive that is 16GB. I used the option on Boot Camp to "Create a Windows 7 or later version install disk" and then after that I checked "Install windows 7 or later version". I followed instructions and it went fine until it was done partitioning and the computer restarted and came to "no bootable device insert boot disk and press any key". I don't know what to do, i pressed option while booting up and saw two options I selected Windows and it is just a black screen; there is another option which is EFI-SIE or something and that actually boots up into windows, and as soon as I get to the partitions option it wont let me install on the partition because it can only be booted on the EFI-SIE type of drive thing that I mentioned earlier. I have a bit of experience with Boot Camp as I have done this before on a MacBook Pro successfully with a windows 7 disc instead of an ISO.

MacBook Air, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

    1. Please ensure that your USB is a USB2 and not a USB3 flash disk. Windows installer has no support for USB3, till BC drivers are fully installed.

    2. Do not modify Bootcamp info.plist to enable options, that you otherwise do not get. It is primarily responsible for "No bootable device" errors.

    3. From How to identify your MacBook Air - Apple Support, a 5,2 is mid 2012 MBA, which may not support ISOs. You may have to burn the ISO to a physical DVD and use an Apple Superdrive (or equivalent) for boot.
