Storage Issue/Contradiction

Hi,

I have a 250GB Macbook Pro 2013 model running Yosemite. In 'About This Mac', I see the following (attached picture). Which is correct, do I have almost 100GB free or a tiny amount as shown by the graphic?

Hi,

Thanks for your response. This has changed the graphic, but the contradiction with free storage still exists. 211GB of 'Apps' seems high to me, I only have Adobe Creative Cloud and a couple of other apps, could this be including the OS? I've attached what the graphic now shows. Thanks.

That display in Yosemite has had a history of displaying incorrect information. I also doubt that you have 210 GBs of applications even including the OSX). I suppose it is possible that some things are being recognized as Apps incorrectly.

If you want accurate information, download from the Internet OmniDuskSweeper and Grand perspective (both free). Open them and they will show all of your files and the respective sizes.
