Macbook internet sharing over Wi-Fi

Hi There,

Basically i live in a shared house where the internet router in far away from my room, so what i have done is used powerline adaptors to get a wired connection in my room, i then had a old macbook which i connected to the powerline and then shared the connection over Wi-Fi so i had a mini wifi spot in my room.

but sometimes when i'm sort of in the middle of them both, i have to keep changing them over, so my question is, can i change the Wi-Fi setting on the mac thats plugged in to the powerline adaptor so that when i get close with my new macbook the connection jump to the other one, if you get what i mean.

Regards

Tom 🙂
