My Passport for Mac is running iPhoto 7.1.5 and MacBook Pro have iphoto 9.2.3 --- what are my options in trying to access and/or recover the photos saved on My Passport for Mac? Thank you.

Open the Library with v9.2.3 . It will upgrade to the necessary format for the later version. That's it.
Hold down the option (or alt) key key and launch iPhoto. From the resulting menu select 'Choose Library'
Be sure to have a backup of the v 7.1.5 library before converting to v 9.2.3 just in case the conversion doesn't go as intended.

How can I access pictures saved on My Passport for Mac that is running a different/older version of iPhoto from what I have on my MacBook Pro.
