When I asked Siri to locate someone it tells me I am not logged into the find my friends app. If I ask Siri to open the find my friends app it opens without any issue and is already logged in. I never logout of the app and it works just fine if I open it myself, but if I asked Siri to locate a specific person it gives me the error below (see screenshot).
Any thoughts?

Is your screen locked by a passcode or Touch ID? This might only work if a passcode for the screen is set and you unlocked the screen, either by entering the code or using the TouchID.
If have not problems doing this, but my Lock Screen and TouchID are enabled.
I don't have a passcode set. a simple swipe and it's unlocked. For example I can say "open find my friends" and it works fine.

I experienced the same problem with my iPad. But somehow works on my iPhone. I tried changing the "device sharing the location" to iPad but still didn't solve. See if that works for you.
