Q: is there a problem with using an aol.com email address?

Received several emails from Apple stating aol.com addresses can no longer be used as apple ID after March 30. Why and how would one migrate to a new apple ID?

Why? Because after March 31, you can no longer use your AOL ID as an Apple ID.
