Wi-fi sharing drops

Hello all,

so I share wi-fi through my MacBook pro, 13' retina, mid 2014. I noticed, lately the connection to my smartphone drops awful a lot. My Book currently runs 10.10.2. Is there any chance I can find out whether the problem coms from by Book or just the internet connection ***** big time, or is it the phone ?

MacBook Pro (Retina, 13-inch, Mid 2014), OS X Yosemite (10.10.2)

Try a Diagnostic test and hopefully issue can be resolved hopefully...About Wireless Diagnostics - Apple Support

Thanks but I use a cable (I live in a student dorm) and I share via Wi-Fi, so this thing I guess does no really work so much for me. Any other ides ?
