Is the iPhone charger adaptable for 220 current?
wwill my iPhone be able to charge in Cuba using their 220 current. Are there special adapters required?

Yes, it will. Cuba is 220V at 60Hz, current is irrelevant as the adapter will draw what it needs. Many hotels have USA style plugs at 120V, most are European style plugs. The charger will work with any of them with the proper adapter.
it will work

Yeah. 220... 221, whatever it takes.
Just in case it still isn't clear, your lightning cable and the square white charger will work fine. What probably won't work is that the two prongs sticking out of the charger won't fit the Cuban electrical outlets. You can find plug adapter sets online (here's a link to one I found at Amazon)...one of the adapters should work in Cuba. Perhaps you should Google "Cuban electric outlets" to see which one is needed, just to make sure.
I have a similar question, but I am going to Peru; that is, do I need more than a simple electrical plug outlet?
Look up the specs on the Apple charger furnished with your iPhone and compare to Peruvian electric current. It seems that the charger is pretty much universal, just the prongs that need to be adaped to fit Peruvian (and other) outlets.
Did you not read the original answer? The charger is multi voltage.
