I have a MacBook Pro 11,1 and wish to restore and/or re-install a fresh copy of the firmware. There used to be a Restoration CD to do this, but one has not been publish by Apple since Macbookpro5,1.
Any help in understanding how to do this?

You can browse under the Software Downloads from Apple for any EFI firmware downloads for your model. Just be very careful to make sure if there is one, it's for YOUR model.
