Change/Set Default Browser for target computers via Remote Desktop

Could anyone provide me with the script I can paste into a "Send Unix Command" in order to set Google Chrome as default?

I've spent too many late nights doing hands on changes with too many machines to deal with Pearson PARCC settings. I need to put the actual PARCC (not the practice site) on the desktop and have it open in Google Chrome.

Without going into ridiculous detail, the PARCC and Java requirements have made the process a nightmare to manage for hundreds of non-directory based setups.

I've tried using a custom webloc set to open in Chrome but introduces other issues that defeat the purpose of limited end user added tasks.

Thanks in advance for any help
