If my Apple ID is the same as my AOL email address but the passwords are different, do I still need to change it? I logged out of iTunes and back in as instructed but no prompt to change my Apple ID.
If your iTunes account is an AOL email address then it's not affected, it's only AOL username (e.g. without the '@aol.com') iTunes accounts that need to be converted by the end of March to be an email address instead.
Your iTunes account password and the password that you use to login to your AOL email account (for viewing/sending email) don't have to be the same, and it's more secure if they aren't.
