apple id and icloud username problems! Please help!!

Ok...... I changed me apple id to a new username/email and updated the password. This was done through the web browser. My ipad now recognises this as does iTunes on my laptop. However iCloud still uses the old email/username and will not except the old password. To make matters worse a reset doesn't generate an email to the old email address (or the new one!) So I can't reset, change, logout, delete the iCloud account.


To summarise the new apple id works fine on the web, iTunes and app store. But iCloud is still using the old username and is inaccessible on both the iPad and through the web.


Any help would really appreciated as I'm now going mad!!!!!
