home sharing stopped working

Home sharing worked initially, but then stopped working, possible after an iOS update. I have tried all the suggestions to make it work without success.

Apple TV, iOS 8.1.3

If you're experiencing issues with Home Sharing where you cannot access your iTunes Library, then I'd like you to please follow the directions in the article below.

I have Norton 360 which controls Windows Firewall. I have tried altering devices to 'maximum trust' in network security map but cannot see how to get access to TCP port 3689 and UDP port 5353 that are needed to communicate with shared iTunes libraries.
