Charging Problem

When I try to charge my Iphone with orginal lighting cable, my Iphone 5 pop up " this cable or accesory is not certified and may not work reliably with this Iphone" message. It works as usual as it is, If I charge my Iphone reverse side of the lighting cable. Today I take my Iphone to Genius. They examined the Iphone and found that one of the pin is missing in the lightining socket. And they said that it's out of warranty without any reason. I only used this port to charge my phone only with orginal cable but it is defected in 16 months. It is not acceptable. I hope apple don't forget to care about customer satisfaction. And should rethink the warranty cases.

Sorry, but you are not addressing Apple here, this is a user to user forum and we are all users here, just like you.

The warranty for an iPhone, without having the extended AppleCare warranty plan, has always been one year.

So, if your phone is 16 months old, it is "out-of-warranty".
