Passcode needed for update installation incorrect?

How to change passcode for installation on my Iphone 4S as my current isn't working?

iPhone 4S, iOS 8.1.3

To change your passcode, go to Settings > Passcode. Enter in your passcode, then choose to change it or remove it.

Thank you for your assistance. The problem is when I use my passcode its rejecting as incorrect even in that initial passcode section, not sure why as have used all the time ?

Perhaps it is a Restrictions Passcode? Settings > General > Restrictions?
