I have an early 24" iMac that I have sold. I need to erase data and such before I ship it. I do not have the software that was shipped with the computer when I purchased it. What is best way to perform these tasks?

You can either phone Apple and order replacement original disks, or buy a Snow Leopard DVD from the online Apple Store; if you use the second option, the computer won't have the iLife applications afterwards. Whichever one you choose, include the disk with the computer.
