I would like to extend my wireless network though out my house using this device setup "Modem-> Airport Extreme-> Gigabit Switch-> Airport Express". Is it possible to plug the airport express into the gigabit switch rather than the airport extreme to extend the wireless network?
Yes, that is fine.. of course the Express is only 100Mbps so there is no gain using gigabit switch but that is fine.. it works..

Thank you, the Express is just to extend the wireless network only, no LAN connections. The gigabit switch is used for the LAN that runs through out my house. Will I still see the express on the network when using the Airport Utility application?
Yes, there is a discovery mechanism and it will search the whole network for all airports.
