So this is my problem (Audio)

Help!

I'm running Yosemite, but I have no idea whether or not that has anything to do with this issue. Yes, there is a red light coming out of my headphone jack. No, poking it doesn't work. I've tried several different tools. Is there a way I can just download these audio drivers? My Audio Midi setup is also in sad shape.

No devices found. I didn't use time machine backup until after this issue occurred, so no luck there. I'm looking for any potential solutions. My data is backed up on a hard drive, but the last time I tried a complete system reset, the only option Apple offered me to restore my operating system to was Yosemite. After 7 hours of waiting for the reboot to finish, nothing's changed.

The internal switch is stuck in the position for digital output. You may be able to free it by inserting and removing a mini-stereo jack of the proper size. If not, the machine needs to be serviced.

At this point, unsticking a switch isn't going to change the fact that I have no drivers. My whole purpose in being on this forum is so I can find a way to fix the issue myself. I can't afford to have the machine serviced.
