Deleting pre-installed apps

I don't use Garageband, Keynote, Pages, or Ibooks, is it okay to uninstall them? There's not going to be any system crashes if I do will there?

Many preinstalled programs aren't safe to remove but those are perfectly safe to delete.

I strongly recommend not deleting iBooks. iBooks is included as part of the standard OS X 10 distribution. iBooks is in the same class as iPhoto, Preview, Calendar, etc. You should never delete any of these.
