Most recent

WIth their recent "updates" it seems that they have changed things for the worse. I would like to know if there is anyway to get rid of the "most recent" it rather destroys my set up, I like to have my books in their alphabetical order, I know which book I am currently reading, is there anyway to get rid of this?
