I am running Yosemite on IMAC and have LogicProX and running MainStage2 and Logic Remote

My Logic Remote on IPad will not connect to Mainstage2 on my IMAC although it will connect to, and control, LogicProX

Any ideas why it will not connect to MainStage?

Also, and more importantly, is MainStage yet available for the iPad as I don't have a Macbook?

Yes, MainStage 2 was released way before Logic Remote, it is therefore missing the support for it.
