Created new library and now i cant find my original library with all my songs

I was just trying to create another library for my wife to have her music in. Now when i open itunes it just brings up a blank itunes. What happened to my original library and how do i get it back. I tried holding shift and searching but its not there, only this new blank itunes library is there. I followed the instructions on apple support, they didnt do a very good job.
