Macbook pro 2011 crashing - kernel_task 300 - 450% cpu usage

Hi, my macbook pro has suddenly crashed and no matter how many times I restart it, nothing happens. I have recently formatted it and sent it to technicians to upgrade my hard drive to ssd. When I start my mac, I get 100% cpu usage. 96% system 4% user. When I checked activity monitor, there is no process consuming that much cpu usage. Any help pls?

Edit: Problem is kernel_task taking all the processing power.

MacBook Pro (13-inch Early 2011), OS X Mavericks (10.9.4), null
