itunes importing random stuff as album artwork

When I import songs from an unknown artist itunes seems to be pulling random images for album artwork. For example, one pic is the cover of a book in ibooks, another pic is the cover page from a .pdf document that was in my documents folder. I have no idea where or how iTunes comes up with this stuff as album artwork.

Hi,

Ive been having this problem for a long while now but today i accidentally fixed so i thought id try and help 🙂

I just went on to the Get Info part of iTunes and simply clicked the album as 'compiation of songs by various artist' and the album artwork just turned into the generic music artwork

Hope it works for you too
