Reinstall Lion on 2009 MacBookPro without Apple ID

Hello guys,

We have a pawn shop and recently received a 2009 Macbook Pro with the following problem:

When we start the system it enters directly in the Mac OS X Utilities section.

We tried all the options there..

- restore from time machine does nothing, just searching for backup and doesn't seem to find anything

- reinstall Mac OS goes to a page with the setup installation of OS Lion 10.7 but it asks for Apple ID and we don't know it

- disk utility does't find errors.

We are not used with this OS and the questions are:

- how do we make this working, meaning, is there a way to reinstall OS from what we have on the computer (or make a bootabee USB somehow) or should we buy a new licence?

- If we buy a new OS will it be attached by our Apple ID or on the system? i'm asking this because we need to resell the laptop and we should instruct the new buyer.

Thanks

MacBook Pro
