I'm in version 8.1.3 on my iPad2. Whenever I put the iPad in landscape mode, Favorites shows up on the left and takes up 1/5 of the screen.
is there any way to get rid of it, or at least shrink it?

Does tapping the bookmark icon, to the left of URL address field at the top of the screen, not remove the list of bookmarks from the side of the screen ?
