I cannot access my iBooks on my new air iPad. Previously purchased on my iPhone. Says I do not have correct iBooks and iOS. Can anyone help?

I have previously owned and still own a iPhone 4s and 5s. Purchased an iPad air and downloaded everything from phone onto new iPad. However can't access my purchased books. Can anyone help?

It says: to view this book you must have iOS device with iBooks 1.3.1 or later and iOS 4.3.3 or later or a Mac with iBook 1.0 or later and OS X 10.9 or later? I have new iPad air? Can view on my iPhone. Thanks for helping 🙂
