Charge iPhone 6 in the car

Hello everyone,

I just bought a new car that does not have the usual lighter socket that I used to charge my phone. It does have a USB though. Is it OK to use the regular USB-Lightning cable to charge my iPhone 6 while on the road? Or do I need a special cable for that?

Thank you so much!

iPhone 6, iOS 8.1.3, 16GB Space Gray

Unless your car is an anomaly, you should be able to use the same USB-Lightning cable that you use to charge the phone from the power pack or your computer.
